  • [ 3 ] important questions for your church to remain on mission

    July 20, 2012

Last week I spent time with two church planters from Central PA.

When talking about how we are forming our communities to be robust expressions of mission, one of them told me each week his church asks each other three questions and shares together:

    1. In the past week, how have you done life with other followers of Jesus? [Community]
    2. In the past week how have you been a blessing to the world? [Mission]
    3. In the past week, what has God been teaching you through prayer, scripture and worship? [Discipleship]

These are great questions and this is a fantastic rhythm for churches to engage in.

What if your church asked one another these questions on a regular basis? What might result from practicing this rhythm together on a regular basis?
