This Mercedes was in front of me on my way to church on Sunday.
My thoughts and emotions were all over the map as I tried to process this.

1What does it make me feel? A number of things:
1. If you are going to have a tag like that, please don’t drive like an idiot.
2. Would a 15 year old Geo Metro still be a gift from God?
3. How accountable are we willing to be for the use of the gifts God has given us… How is that car being used to advance the Kingdom? How are MY gifts being used to advance the Kingdom? I honestly find myself NOT discussing some of my gifts at times simply because I don’t want to be accountable for using them.

3I think my half-empty kicks up first…the usually stuff. I think it’s the “Z” that screws me up…
Then I think it could be that a person bought this for someone else b/c and they think of them as Godz gift…
Maybe they are grateful.
But, then I’m also reminded that what bothers me says more about me or what I fear, than it does about them….(I get to have this lesson daily or more)
BTW How was their driving?
