Attempting to behold the miracle long enough without falling asleep

  • Manifold Witness: A Book Review

    December 4, 2009

manifoldwitness John Franke, professor at Biblical Seminary (and passionate Minnesota Vikings fan) recently published a book called Manifold Witness: the Plurality of Truth. I had lunch with him a few months ago (because I have yet to have the privilege of taking one of his classes) before the book released, saying his knows will book will encourage some and bother others. He’s right: It’s been making waves on both sides of the pool. (Of course, the subtitle is provocative…its supposed to be).

I admit: I haven’t read it (yet) so I won’t give my two cents right now, but several of my friends have read it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe I’ll try to interview John here on the blog.

My friend John Chandler, a church planter who is a part of the Ecclesia Network in Austin, TX, read the book and enjoyed it. Check out the book review here. You can read more about the book on Amazon.

If you’ve read it, what were your thoughts?

And if I interview John here on the site, what questions would you want me to ask?

Thanks for the link JR. Franke has brought an important conversation to the popular level, and I hope the ideas are engaged widely.
