You might have heard about this bizarre story that happened last week. A seven year old from Utah stole his parents car and took it for a ride. Why? Because he didn’t want to go to church. This is a good sermon illustration, but more importantly, the story carries all sorts of challenges with it, if churches are willing to accept these challenges and ask tough questions.
